So i finally got the time to clean the truck properly today, the paint on this truck is light years better then the orange peel special my 2012 was. 300 miles on the new truck now, showing 16.9 mpg for this weeks driving back and forth to work which is a solid 2+mpg better than the 2012 got. Best tank of fuel ever the 2012 got was from on a trip from NY to Kentucky and that was 17.2mpg so this truck is WAY better on fuel. Put on my 20" summer wheels on also, like them way better than the stupid white letter OEM tires, plus these tires have way less tread squirm than the OEM so the truck handles much better.
Husky floor liners showed up yesterday, along with the vent visors, weathertech mud flaps i thought would be here today but they got delayed somehow and wont be here till Tuesday.
I'm on the fence whether to sell the OEM tires and wheels all complete VS just getting good M/S tires for them for the winter time, i have doubts how many years the OEM ones will look good after NY salt starts getting at them, plus they are a fairly open wheel so all the salt and **** gets right into the rotors and calipers. a rim with less open area would be more ideal for winter only use for me.
Rims are not my style (not my truck though). Otherwise a nice looking truck, ghetto looking rims takes a lot away from an otherwise great looking truck.
