Sure. I did not order this. Picked it off the lot. Thanks to all the info here I was able to find all the common issues. I pointed them all out to the dealer. To me they seemed resolvable and I do not expect perfection. I did not notice the poor paint at all so that is my bad. Collectively I really question if the truck should have made it this far with the sum of the issues. I associate it to a second d quality item not a first quality.

I believe it's just the crew cab.

Dropped it off today. Looking at the sum of issues the dealer was stunned. They feel it's way to many and unacceptable. As they inspected things, they found more issues. They could not believe the lower door jam area that was not even painted. The service manager said all four doors were wrong and he has never seen one there that bad with the paint and all. They said they would be surprised if Ford would not possible want it back. I expressed concern if all four doors had to come off and it was re-painted, doors added back adjusted then getting all the hardware back to match would just be a series of issues going on and on.

They said any less would affect the resale down the road and that was not acceptable. I told them I did not feel it was a first quality truck. More like second quality. They said well it should come at second quality price. They said worse case they figure out how to get me out of it and into a replacement.

Super nice they genuinely seem disappointed. At the end of the day it comes down to rubber meeting the road though on making it right. It will be a journey.

I wonder what the percentage of misaligned doors on the SCREWS is? Is it all of them or just a select few...on certain trim levels...???

I ordered mine but can certainly decline to purchase when it gets here if it's too bad.

I hope they just give you another truck so you don't have to go through all the hassle to fix your truck.

They said they have to send it to a body shop because they are maxed on adjustment??? that freaks me out a bit. They are still working on the air leak on the passenger side. I have 6-7 deep groves in my driver side rear window. Any body else have this or did I just buy a
Friday afternoon made truck?
You aren't alone, my driver rear door actually popped when the driver door was closed and I went to open it; freaked me out. Sent It to the body shop for an entire day, they did something to the door gasket as well because now that looks like a 3 year Old installed it. I'm not happy.

Default Door and Paint

Add me to the list of door alignment and trash in paint. Just picked up my $60k + truck on Saturday evening and did not notice till I saw it in the daylight on Sunday. Sadness followed.

I just got my new truck and I'm a body technician. My truck and all others I've seen have problems with fit, doors tight gaps , in and out alignment and sometimes even rubs to next panel. I think it all started at the front fenders. They are usually put on before paint and the doors after for trims. The fenders and hood are too far back!!!!!! Hood rubs to cowl panel, doors can go ahead a bit if fenders were ahead. Doors are in and out so they don't rub. If they are aligned well, it would have almost no gaps in certain areas. Look closely to the gap between the two doors!!!
