Aftermarket Oil drain plug.
Been looking at these online. Just wondering if anybody has bought one, what kind they bought, and if they liked it.

Trying to figure it out!
I have the 107N and love it. Yes it takes longer to drain but still not as long as waiting at kwiklube hoping they did it right.
I left a length of hose on mine long enough to go into the 5qt bottle from my previous oil change. Open the valve, which I can reach without removing the skid plate and sound dampening and let it drain. All 5+ qts will fit in the bottle. Then close the valve and change filter. Or you can change the filter first and clean up the mess from that horrible design while the oil drains.

I have a 107N sitting on my desk beside me waiting for the first oil change.
I'm not terribly concerned about the oil taking longer than usual to drain. I figure it's both cheaper and quicker than changing an entire oil pan...which I've had to do twice in the past 10 years due to stripped threads (neither were my doing).

I'm like summers.. open it and let it drain .. I find something else to do while it's draining. Have had them on all my cars and trucks.

I do this even with a drain plug, let it drain and I check other things until it stops dripping.

Yep.. always something else to do besides watch oil drain... the time I save from having the find my drain plug I dropped in the bucket and clean the oil off my hand and socket..I could have cleaned my air filter.
