Adjusting lock functionality
I’m hoping someone can help me out. There are two mods I want to make related to the door locks.
1 - if I unlock the doors with the fob but don’t actually open the door, I want the doors to relock. I can find 5 or 6 lines in the Forscan spreadsheet related to this, but it’s not clear at all what they are or which one I need.
2 - when I shut the truck off, the front doors automatically unlock. The rear doors, however, do not. I’d love to change that.
I’ve asked multiple times in the Forscan thread and searched but my searches haven’t yielded what I need and I think my question is getting lost in the clutter of that crazy long thread.

I think #1 is the factory setting, and that goes to ALL cars. Did you try it? On the #2, mine unlocks all, and I'm sure I changed that on the dash settings. Did you look into that? What my car doesn't have anymore (changed in 2018) is the ability to disable auto-lock. When I get my cable next week, will post on FORScan to see if there's a way to do that. Didn't see it on the spreadsheet. I can disable auto-unlock from the dash, but not auto-lock. If I can disable auto-lock, then I'd just disable auto-unlock via the dash. Let us know when you try my suggestions

.I didnt try any of the 5 lines because the have an X instead of an actually value and there are 5 lines in the spreadsheet with no details as to what’s what.

I did find the “Auto Lock” and “Auto Unlock” in the settings on the dash. The problem is the back doors don’t Auto Unlock...only the fronts. I was hoping to learn how to modify that.
