Default Adjust camera alignment after level...

So, for the last year or so since I leveled my truck the cameras don't line up perfectly and I'm just now getting around to trying to do something about it.

I did some searching and it sounds like this may be possible by putting the truck on some QR Code mats or something? Has anyone crossed this bridge and know of a DIY way to fix it? It's not a huge deal, but you can see how the parking lot lines "skip" at the front end of the truck...I'd love to adjust the zoom or something now that the front end is a little higher and the camera system doesn't know it. Please see the attached pic for reference.

I'm curious - how much did you lift/level? I'm thinking about putting a front level on mine and was wondering about issues like this....

It's a 2.5" leveling kit from AutoSpring.

I had a 2015 screw and put on a 1 1/2" front leveling kit from auto spring, and 1 size bigger tire (275/60/20) and had no issues with the cameras.

Domo Dan - only a front leveling kit did you put on?

I put on a 2.5" level and 295/65R20 tires (35's). It raised the truck fairly significantly.

There is no DIY method. The QR mats are the length of the truck and ridiculously expensive($1200). There is a fairly elaborate setup procedure requiring a large flat area and a bit of measuring to place the mats just right. I would be somewhat surprised if many dealerships actually had the mats to do the job.

Yeah - I called my local dealer (there are lots around but this one is across the street) and they talked about a procedure where you can hook the truck up to Ford's computer, drive around for 5 minutes and it aligns itself. He didn't seem real confident it would solve MY problem and it didn't sound anything like the very specific process you laid out.

Can you provide me with any more information around what those mats or that procedure are called, so I can reach out to various dealerships and ask if they have what's required?

So either that dealer had no idea what he was talking about, or didn't understand what you were talking about. The procedure he describes is to calibrate the lane keep assist camera.

Here is a link to the part: https://rotunda.service-solutions.co...px?SKU=501-411
and the procedure is attached.

You're absolutely correct. He even mentioned the lane keep assist camera. I just didn't know how to better describe it...I'll swing by and show him, and see what he says. Thanks for these links...it will be most helpful.

I'm assuming since you mentioned 'cameras' you have the 360 view? I had to have my backup camera aligned after the replacement of the IPMB. It was required to do as the alignment is critical to the Pro Trailer Backup Assist for the Max Tow. Only a dealer, at present, has the ability to align the cameras under any circumstance as they have the software program for the procedure through their scan tool. I'm sure if you tell them you need the alignment for the PTBA, they'll know what you're talking about.
