Default Adhesive recommendation

2015 Platinum rear sliding window. There is a plastic U shaped piece that holds the little slider window at the top. Mine has come unglued and lets the little slider lean inward at the top side. Ford had four little short pieces of adhesive holding it. It no longer holds. I had some two sided tape from an old job of mine and decided to use it and after a Short time it lets go. I guess the heat does it. What can I go buy to re- glue this plastic u-shaped piece. It’s about 4’ long.

How about FLEX-SEAL in black or clear. Other than that flexible polyurethane that can be really pricey.

this repair is a PITA!!!! no matter what adhesive you choose to use, the adhesive skins over but doesn't fully cure for about 23hrs, unless you clamp the track in place for 16+ hours the track tends to slip out of position.
(seen it, done it, been there my friend.)
