I finally upgraded to this century and have a phone with wireless charging, but not a truck.

Has anyone added a wireless charger in any location, either Ford parts or aftermarket?

I had read that thread, and wasn't super stoked on the idea of losing that entire compartment to the charger. Have you tried it your self?

There was also another thread on the forum about adding the OEM charger from an Expedition in that same compartment, but nobody ever posted if they tried it.

 

I put a Qi pad in the flat spot in front of the console, fits perfect and works perfect. Picture in the best mods under $50 thread.

 

no i use apple play heavily so i wouldn't really benefit but if i didn't this would be my top choice.. i hardly use that compartment anyway and i love the design
