That looks like a decent kit if you don't mind losing the storage in that bin. Personally I'd either take a cheap charging pad and attach it to the back or bottom of the bin. Or try to incorporate the pad from an 18+ Expedition. Do they have you take the bulb out for in there? Mine stays on even if the car is off and that door is open.

It's USB, but needs enough power to charge the phone. Will see what happens.
