I looked on NGK Part Finder, and for my 2018 3.5L they list the 97177 Laser Iridium (same as Rockauto).
For the 2020, they list 95927 Laser Iridium, and do not list the Ruthenium as an alternate.

Not sure why 2020 is showing different since it is the same engine...?
Probably back to Ford specifying something different - at least with NGK, it'll stay that way. I wouldn't bank on Rockauto's part matching to be correct for things like this though.

"Also, what's the difference between NGK97177 Laser Iridium vs. NGK90495Ruthenium HX High Ignitability?" The electrode is a bit different (the strap has a ruthenium tip that sticks out). Supposed to last longer. The lasting longer makes no difference to me as I replace plugs at 20000 miles just to check the engine condition.I have a tuned 2.7 and use NGK 6510 LTR71X-11 iridium plugs, a step colder than listed plugs.
I will not say better, just more consistent in plug numbering, NGK is a Ford supplier. KM
Ahh yeah, you're not far from me at all! I was doing a search earlier, and I saw I think it was 2021 or 2020 where a shop only charged you $400 for a coolant swap (to yellow), trans flush and filter and something else. What shop is that? I'm almost to 30K miles and soon I'll be doing fluids.

I definitely want to do plugs. My '20 3.5 EB is 100% STOCK. So, then, what NGK plugs - NGK97177 Laser Iridium or NGK90495Ruthenium HX High Ignitability? Seeing as NGK is a little better plug than OEM

Fancier plug is if you want it, chance of noticing a difference is low - it'll also likely last less miles before needing replaced. "A light that burns twice as bright...."

No, i was referencing the two NGK options. I wouldn't bother with Motorcraft plugs, it buys you nothing and potentially is a lesser plug.

.Accelerated Auto The add used generic photos of another shop. Accelerated is more a traditional shop based on keeping used cars on the road, not the prettiest of shops. They have done me quite well, and only 1/2 block away.
PM would not take a photo of the bill, so here it is,

I did get Ford Yellow P-Oat coolant not green as listed.
Back to sparkers! KM
