Default Adding OE Style Flares

Has anyone added oe style flares to a truck that didn't come with them? What brand did you use and what was involved?

I spend a good bit of time in the dirt and in the woods and so if I can limit chipping without going pocket style on my STX that would be great.

Thank ahead of time fellas.

Any chance you have an iconic silver truck? I have a set that I bought of OEM ones. Didn't put them on as planned and decided not to. Still have to sell them.

If I did I would take them off your hands. Mine is magnetic.

I like the idea of adding OE style flares too but I read somewhere that the factory trucks had extra holes in the fenders, for the flares, so they wont work on a non flare truck. I'm looking at these https://www.stage3motorsports.com/20...er-flares.html

I think a few people here did drill the holes to install them. Many used double sided tape and took the clips off the flair....which was my plan before kids happened

I installed black dealership take offs with plastic trim buttons back in 2018.

I cut the mount pins off the trim flare, positioned with tape and drilled thru the flare and inside fender lip.

Have not loosened since installing.

Please correct me if i am wrong but the only drilling that needed to be done was through the underside fender lip?

What wheels are those btw? Im really liking the flat faced retro feel wheels as of late.
