They are the 2 brands I have been researching, was thinking the the airlift ultimates would be better because they have the bumper stop built into to air bag.

Which brand did you like better.

They were two different styles so I can't really compare between them even though they both served the same purpose. On the last truck, a '98 expedition it had coil springs in the rear so the air springs (bags) sat inside the spring. Those were the airlift's. They looked like the picture below although thats not my truck. On the F150 I have the traditional air bags from firestone. I also did the airlift wireless one compressor on the F150 and I am really happy with the whole set up. I went to Lowe's a couple month ago and got a pallet of patio pavers. They used a forklift and just set the pallet right in the truck. I was able to stand 20 feet back with the wireless remote and watch the truck as I got it nice and level. It was great.

The kit comes with all the parts...it just costs more (according to their local retailer).

Amozo.ca lists it for around $300 but I have pried it at Action Truck Accessories for $260. I didn't think that was too bad.

FYI if anyone decides to go with Airlift make sure to go to their web site. They are always running rebates. I got a rebate when I did the wireless compressor.

My last truck was an 05 4x4 Screw F150 and I put in an AAL. It raised the back about 1 inch and the ride was stiffer but not bad, in fact I probably preferred it to stock. My front was leveled out with Rancho quicklifts.

This time around I went with the firestone air bags on my 2015 FX4 Screw. I like the fact that they are adjustable and the installation was way easier. I am leveled with the Rancho quicklifts on this truck also. Ride wise they are pretty similar in my opinion when towing and the bags are inflated to max. I did not get an on board compressor, as someone else mention they are super quick and easy to inflate and once inflated to the proper amount require no adjustment.

Either one will probably work fine but keep in mind these trucks are lighter than previous generation so an AAL may make the ride feel more harsh and there is no adjusting it once installed. That was my main reason for choosing the bags this time.

MASTERZ - This is similar to what I was thinking, how do to like it and do you pull a TT with it? My TT is about 8500lbs fully loaded... Trying to do an apple to apple comparison. I have had 2200lbs in my truck earlier this summer (landscaping block) putting the truck down on it's bumper stops.

robbieg- You sure have me thinking with that video. VERY Impressive!
