Default Adding fog lights?

I got this truck with 14,000 miles from a reseller but it his the price and value point very well. At any rate, what this truck has and doesn't is off concern to me and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get anything reliable from them anyway. So I have 2 questions; 1) is there a way to get a complete list of what this truck came with? 2) My fog lights don't work. I see them and have the button? I push the button and get nothing. So I guess it wasn't paid for. How do I turn it on?

if you have the lights themselves and the switch, it isn't about having paid for the function. You either have a blown fuse, burnt out bulbs, a bad switch or a wiring issue. There is a remote chance of a control module issue.

... and you need to get the Monroney sticker. It will tell you what came with the truck. A dealer can get it for you. It might cost a little money but its worth getting it.

Fog lamps are controlled by a BCM FET circuit rather than a fuse. This means that the problem is one or more of the following:
  • Bad fog lamp switch
  • Bad fog lamp wiring
  • Burnt out fog lamp bulbs
  • Non-stock fog lamp bulbs that pull too much amperage and are tripping the FET (Field Effect Transistor) circuit protection

Or the truck might have been in a f.end accident and either wiring issue or maybe someone forgot to plug them back in ( seen it before)
