Add a leaf question
Hi new here and I apologize for waking up an old thread. While I understand that the addition of leaf springs will not increase towing capacity/payload I am curious to add them mainly because it looks to me like there is room in the leaf spring carrier for an additional spring. 2019 F150 STX 6.5’ bed super cab. I would imagine the Max Tow models have an additional spring this filling the gap I’m observing. I will post photos asap.

For what it's worth, I found this information from another post on this forum. Here are all of the springs available for a 2019. Hope this helps.

Trucks with max tow do not automatically get the max payload. I learned that after I bought my 19 screw max tow.
I have thought about buying the Firestone airbags to keep the truck from squatting when hauling a 550# snowmobile or atv, or a 310# dirt bike on a hitch hauler.
