accessory delay fuse/relay
I've searched the forum and the owner's manual
I'm looking for which fuse to tap in the sjb that will allow my (soon to be installed) subwoofer to continue to operate with the key off the same as the radio. I found it on my '13 but I can't seem to locate it on the '17 i just bought.
the amp remote wire will be tapped to this fuse...if it exists. can't find it anywhere in the manual.

No, it's not always hot, it's switched on or off with the ignition.
the benefit of tapping the delay fuse/relay is that the amp works just like the radio. it will stay on as long as the radio does. after the key is turned off it will continue to operate for a few minutes the same as the radio.
so when my wife goes to the grocery store, i can sit in the truck and listen to music without the key on....and with the amp still working
don't tell her i said that
I haven't looked at the fuse block layout for my '17, but maybe an add-a-circuit to the radio fuse in the fuse block? I would like to get wiring schematics for this truck like I have for most of my other vehicles.
#33 in the sjb is the radio fuse, however it's a miniature fuse and i don't think they make an add a circuit for that size, plus it's 20 amp. i haven't seen a 20 amp add a circuit fuse tap either

Why not look into tapping the harness made for the factory sub? Isn't the connector back there for all trucks regardless if they have the sub or not. i would think one of those could be used for amp turn on.
i don't think this will accomplish what i'm trying to do. i have a 12v key on source now. i want the amp/sub to function the same as the radio...i mean a delayed turn off after the key is off.
