I ordered the tailgate dampener and the bed mat for my 2019 screw almost two months ago. The accessories salesperson says they are on backorder. Really, for two months? Is anyone else having this experience or did she just forget to place my order? She did take my ford pass points.

 

I can appreciate the desire to use points, as you did earn them. But, if you are in more of a hurry for a back ordered item, I often find parts are immediately available via eBay and other sites. Both the dampener kit and bed mats (depending on required length and material) are currently available on eBay. The vast majority of my OEM parts purchases are done on eBay (and many of them via authorized Ford dships). Sometimes, if you have the desire (and time) to pursue it, you can go directly to that Ford dship's website and find it for less than their own Buy It Now eBay price. Just confirm shipping charges and if you are being hit with state tax. Of course, you'd need to confirm immediate availability, but a handful of large Ford dships carry a pretty strong variety of parts. I'm preparing to mod my bumper to look like a 2019 Limited and was able to deal directly with a Ford dship that had overall strong pricing on over $300 worth of parts (better than their advertised eBay pricing, including shipping) and didn't charge me tax. So, that offset any number of other dships as well as anything I could piece together on eBay or others.
