Does the 6r80 in the 2015's and up have a vent? If so where's it located? Thanks

On the top, towards the front, slightly positioned over to the left side. If you were trying to locate a leak from the vent, it would drip off the drivers side.

It's the transmission. 6 = number of speeds, 80 = rating of torque converter.

What does the letter stand for? My previous truck had a 4L60 transmission.

L means longitudinal, rear wheel drive. and T means transverse as in front wheel drive. The R means rear wheel drive.
