Default 5.0 weight

How much more does the 5.0 weigh than the 3.5 EB or 2.7?

Their all about the same, 3rd Gen Coyote is about 445lbs (think previous was slightly less?), 3.5 is 450lbs and 2.7 around 440lbs for blocks dry weight.

wow- would have thought the 5.0 would be 150 heavier. I was wondering if the front sagged more on 5.0's- I guess not

Add two turbos, larger radiator, more oil and coolant- I guess it evens out.

Matters little the displacement. Must build strong for HP.

Is widely believed the 2.7EB is one of the most overbuilt sturdy engines Ford has ever made.

While it doesn't have the journal sizes you would see in a diesel, I expect the CGI block to prove out to be sturdy as hell, and very buildable.
