Default 4x4 options

I am considering a 2015 F-150 as I may have a buyer for my 2014 Silverado.

Trying to figure out as to what Trim level (package) I have to get in order to have the 4A (4x4 Auto) option.

Been on a number of dealer sites with good photos, and it appears this option starts at the Lariat level. Is it possible to get it in the XLT? I like the front 40/20/40 bench and cloth seats therefore the Lariat is not going to work.

I'm interested in the answer to this too. It used to be minimum Lariat. But things trickle down as time goes on.

I've heard Lariat and up. My Lariat has it.

Not the answer I was hoping to get. All the 2014+ GM Trucks have 4Auto regardless of the trim

I use this handy feature December-March almost all the time...
So now to get this option, I have to move up to the leather interior and console - and I care less for either. On top of that, the 2.7 EB will be probably impossible to find as in this configuration.

And GM trucks have had 4Auto forever. Before 2000 anyway. It took Ford a long time to catch up there.

Do you mind commenting on why you are looking to get out of the Silverado?

That's correct - if you stick with the 501A package, then you can still get the bench seat with column shifter.
