4wd lowering kit
Anybody install the 1.5"-2.5" lowering kit? Should put the truck basically at stock 2wd height. Looks like the same kit available from Ford performance, Steeda, Ground Force, and a few others. Any feedback or pics from those who have installed?
Thanks,
Mike

Nothing to add here but I have been thinking about removing the rear blocks on mine and from researching threads on here it just about makes the truck level , which is what I am wanting.
The only thing need this way is to shorten the U bolts or just buy shorter ones

There is also a leveling kit that drops the rear with a longer shackle but keeps the spacer. I'd look into any shims needed to maintain perfect diff alignment regardless of which way you go. This kit comes with wedge shims.
You'll be fine just removing the blocks. There are several threads on here of guys who have removed them with no issue. Getting ready to do it to mine and the good thing it is free. I did order new u bolts in case I want to put it back stock later on after I cut these off. The Ubolts were $24 at the dealer.

I've got that kit installed on the rear, I bought from Ford Performance, made by Ground Force. Using the shims I've got no driveline vibes. I installed 5100's at the same time with the front set at the .71 groove, and still have the block in and have about 1" of rake.
I got an inch drop, I wanted a little more, but I Think I ordered the wrong kit.
Any time I do something like this, the ubolts are never reused, the threads stretch thru torquing, just me I guess.
Anyway, a photo.

Thanks. Took me awhile to find it, just follow that link.
Mine came with tapered shims, doesn't show them, but call CLPony, that's where I got mine.
