4A ?
So from looking, I see that the F-150 can be had with an auto selected 4wd
4A-4H-4L
But what package is this available under? Or can it be added stand alone? I don't see it anywhere in the build options.
I have two other autos that are all wheel drive Audi A4/VW Tiguan.
And an auto mode would be great for a pickup especially in wet weather where the back end steps out way too easily.

that sucks
I'm new to trucks. And really didn't know much about the 4wd systems in them. I purchased a pre-owned 2015 f-150 super cab. And so wish I had the 4A option. The day I drove it home it was raining. First time at a light on a slight incline I spun the wheels trying to take off from the light. Realized right then I wish it was 4A.

I've only ever put my truck in 4A in the wet when I want to take off quickly and get in front of some cell phone zombie. Never had a problem with unintentional wheel spin in my truck.
I can see how it'd be handy though, especially if you're already having traction issues. What tires do you have on your truck? The A/Ts that came on my truck have been better than the A/S ones that came on my 2011.

I don't understand why Ford doesn't make this an option across the entire range. Just a quick look on autotrader and you can find many more Chevy/GMC's that have the 4Auto.
Ford wants you to pay up for the Lariat trim. It's a decent chunk of change to jump from the XLT to a Lariat. I bought a Lariat because I wanted the LED headlights, I wasn't interested in 4A, but I am glad I got it. Its definitely useful in the wet. I agree though, they should at least offer it starting with the XLT.
