4 x 4 without E-locker?
After changing out the stock suspension to Bilstein's last week I noticed I don't get as much one wheel spin making a quick turn from a stop light etc. Almost as if I had heavy duty sway bars installed. Though, I hate the Bilstein's and already ordered some Fox 2.0 rear shocks to start doing a switch over.
I have it and the only time I use it is when I use the truck to roll smooth the jump faces on my motocross track. I not sure it is even necessary for that, but it's nice to know there won't be a rear wheel spinning and tearing up the dirt. I don't need it at the sandy/gravel boat launch and have never needed it the snow.
I prefer the e-locker over a factory limited slip because it is fully locked. You decide when/if it's potentially needed and activate it ahead of time. There are many times at my property where I use the e-locker to keep from spinning the rear wheels when 4X4 is not needed. It is probably not necessary for the vast majority of people who never use 4X4 for anything more treacherous than snow.

I’m another owner that has e locker and uses it more than 4x4. Wet grass, pulling stumps, the famous sleet, snow freezing rain I experience most of the winter whatever. Push a button and off I go. My old truck had a limited slip, probably more effective at normal road speeds but not as effective at slow, “now I’m stuck” speeds. I like it
