4-8’ MFT Help
Happy Saturday All,
I just received my new bezel/APIM/Screen/ACM so I can upgrade my 4 inch entertainment system to the 8 incher. From what I can tell all I need is a wiring harness conversion “kit” (so I don’t have to splice/cut any of the wiring, I’m NOT electrically savvy) and some way to reprogram the ACM. (If that’s necessary) I have both the APIM and ACM from a vehicle that match one another, so I’m not sure how much upgrading I’ll really need. Any words of wisdom? Also, anyone know where I can get a wiring conversion harness? I’ve already emailed OEMRadio, also, 4DTech makes an entire conversion kit, I just don’t know if they’ll sell me their can opener/harness separately.

The type A harness is what I used. It's pricey...but works. You might also try scouring the for sale section here. Members sell harnesses from time to time cheaper.
