Default 37"s

Hey guys first post...

So my 2015 will be here Monday and the lift and tires are waiting already for it's arrival...

ProComp 6" 37x20x13.50 Cooper Discovery SST on 20x10 with a 4.75" backspace.
The ProComp site says it'll fit with "minor" trimming.

I dug about 15 pages deep without finding any answers.
Anyone have a 37" and know where and how much it's rubbing?
I'm getting custom bumpers made for it so I'm not super worried about the bumper mounts, that's about the only spot I've seen that will be an issue.

I'll also end up with fender flares soon too so I'm not super worried about them sticking out a little to much.

Thanks for the help guys!

I can't wait to see that!
Haven't seen any '15s on here with 37's yet.
Your most likely point of rubbing will be on the crash bars - see these threads:

Thanks for the heads up! Ya, that's the only thing I've really seen that'll look like it needs to move.
I'm glad they just unbolt too!

I guess all I need to worry about now is the rear corner of the fender I guess...

With that little of backspace you are going to hit the underspoiler as well as the crash bars. Maybe even rub the rear of the fender well. I have a 6" with 35 and 5" backspace. They still hit the crash bars going through a dip while turning. Honestly with 37's you should be looking at more like a 5.5" backspace. You should be fine other than while turning though.

That's weird because the Procomp guide says to have a 5" or LESS backspace.
I think the crash bars are coming off so I'm not worried to much about those.
The rear of the fender is now my main concern.

oh ya, and the front spoiler will come off with the new bumpers too.

That is weird. BDS says 6' will fit 20 x 9 w/37x12.50 and 5-5.5" back spacing. But also says test fit because of crash bars. Hopefully you will be alright. Maybe with the different bumpers it won't matter.

It could be done! Along as the individual who is doing the work knows is line of work.
There are a couple of factors in the equitation, sizes: 37x13.50/20x10 Your 10” wide is 1” more than the 9” they have on the specks. The 13.50 is also 1” more than the 12.5” they have on the specks. And you will pass the 5.5” on the back spacing or be close to that. The whole thing now is to find out what is your off-set on the wheels?

They specify 20x9. Its not the inward part that matters as much as how much farther out it sticks. A 13.5 on a 10" wide wheel is approx 13.5" wide. A 13.5 on a 9" wheel is approx 13.5" wide. So that part doesnt matter. But a 13.5" tire sticks another 1/2" farther out than a 12.5. So a 4.75 backspace with a 13.5 tire is 1.25" farther out than a 12.5 on a 5.5" backspace. That extra 1.25" swing is what matters and will probably hit the rear fender well. Front is not gonna matter for him.

Well... I might have a set of rims for sale pretty soon lol.

I got a killer deal on then from a friend of mine who took them off a raptor and only ran them about a month.
