Default 360 degree camera

Does anyone know if there is a way to set the camera to automatically turn on whenever you slow down to park? Seems like it might be a handy thing to have and I have seen other vehicles where it automatically turns on while parking. Thanks!

Not that I've been able to find. It would be handy if there was, but I can see why there isn't - let's say it turns on when you get to 3 mph or so. Every time you came to a red light, the camera would pop on. I think more people would find that annoying than helpful. But with all the "smart" technology, it would be awesome if the truck could somehow sense you were actually parking and turn the front/360 camera on.

Rock Chalk!

Once your vehicle is going under 5mph, you can press the 360 camera button and you change through the different views. It will continue to stay on until: you go over 5 mph, you put the truck in park, you put the truck in reverse, or you press the button through all the different angles.

Well, it is a new technology and I'm sure that if you send a suggestion into Ford, it may change in the next design. Things change all the time on the vehicles based on customer feedback.

I just wish there was a way to toggle it on and off and have it stay there. For an example if I'm pulling in to a tight spot and I turn it on and then have to backup a bit and then go forward again it turns off when the reverse camera comes on and I have to turn it back on when I pull forward. Just stay on and switch the primary view between front and back depending upon the transmission until I'm done and I turn it off.

TOTALLY agree. There should be a "Parking Mode" or something like that where it realizes you may go from drive to reverse, and back to drive, and want that camera back on. Maybe something where you push and hold the button, and it stays active until you put the transmission in park.

Found this also... I know it's a different truck but still debating on the two. I emailed the guy in Sweden and asked about the 2015 NAV and Mytouch
