Default 360 camera?

Has anyone successfully installed the OEM 360 camera package to their higher trim level trucks. The reason I am asking is because I bought a 17 super duty platinum and would like to add this option but not sure where to start. Since the trucks have the same cab and same options now I figured I would ask here because the f150 has carried this option for a few years while this is the first year for the super duty. Thanks

Looked into it on my 2016. You need front and side cameras, a new dash main wiring harness and probably a new engine bay harness (never went as far as confirming the engine bay harness).

You'll also need a new grill unless you want to cut up the one already there and it still won't look right. The f150 you can buy the mirror mounts (non tow mirrors) and cameras separate, not sure how the 17 superduty is. If it has the tow mirrors, you may have to buy new mirrors to get the cameras in them.

Prohibitively expensive to order the parts.

Mine is a 502A, but the wiring for the cameras is not already in it. It's one of the few options the "standard" 502A harness doesn't come "pre-wired" for.

Thats not what I was wanting to hear. Is the 502A considered a lariat or platinum package? I didn't mind spending the money and getting the modules and cameras. I just didn't want to rip the dash out and have to replace main harnesses.

Does anyone have any pictures of what the wires and modules look like for the font and side cameras?

500 series is all Lariat.

I think the Platinum is 600 series.

Limited is 700.

XLT is 300.

I think the XL is 100.

502A is the highest option level for a Lariat and then you add things like tech package (IE: cameras) or adaptive cruise (stand alone option).

You can look into it more, but from what i found the dash harness and engine bay harness were different part numbers with and without the 360 cam option....so I didn't look any further than that.

You're easily looking at over a cool grand in just parts to add it after the fact....

I'll try to look into it some more but it sounds like you're right. My truck is the preferred equipment package .773A which is the same as the trucks that carry the 360 camera. My truck carries every option except for 2. Lane keeping alert and 360 camera. If I have to
replace my whole main wring harnesses I'm pretty much dead in the water. It doesn't sound like anything aftermarket is even close to the oem cameras on the new super duty.

For most modules Motorcraft has wiring pigtails available. So one could use those. Then you would have to run your own wiring and splice into existing wires. This is what I did when I added a heated steering wheel to my XLT.

Keep in mind all my info is for f150's. Superduty might be different...

Yes I just looked up the 2017 F350 and the 360 IPMB is different there is one connector (C2512) that is 24 pins with no service pigtail available. C2512A uses WPT-930. C2512B uses WPT-1233. C2512D and C2512E have no pigtails avaliable.

This is all for the super duty trucks do not use these numbers for the F150. I know they are different since I just bought all the IPMB parts.
