In my 2018 I get the engine on due to charging only when I am looking at the auto start stop screen and just for the first 5-10 minutes of operating because the battery is being charged.

Banks iDash will supply you with a battery information and many other system settings. Will also clear the dreaded check engine light after telling you why it's on

"Engine On Due To Charging" does not set a CEL.

Search for "battery monitor bluetooth" at Amazon or the global internet. For $25-$40 you can get a bluetooth battery monitor/logger which stores voltage every 3 minutes the past 30 days, and more often when the engine is starting. I suspect there is only 1 Chinese design but all seem to use different smartphone apps. Can see voltage at any time with your smartphone. Can see what it has been doing when driving, and when parked. You'll see spikes when the doors are opened. You'll see a spike when an EPA gas tank pressure test is performed 5 hours after parking.

try to find a date on battery. if it is a 17 original probably due to replace. If newer trickle charge overnight. this did it for me when my truck was several months old. did it twice in first 6 months. has been fine for 3 years.

Your battery is getting week, press and hold OK on the steering wheel while the digital speedo is displayed (it actually says this on the display), no.

Normal, yes and yes.

Your BMS battery management system is protecting the battery.

You can change from mile to Ks in your menu system.

You can monitor battery voltage using the engineering mode by holding in the OK button when or just before keying on. Keep it held until you see it pop up on the screen. Once in, use the up or down arrow buttons to toggle through the pages until you see battery voltage. It will stay in that mode until you key off.
