3.0L Diesel 4x4 w/FX4 Pkg. and Optional 3.55 Axle Ratio
just thought I would share...
The FX4 Pkg. includes the Electronic Locking Rear axle w/ 3.31 axle ratio. The 3.55 axle ratio is optional. Typically the 3.55 axle ratio is an additional $50 if the truck is already equipped with the Electronic Locking rear Axle w/3.31 gearing. See attached Pkg. contents.
However, when you order the 3.0L Diesel 4x4 w/FX4 Pkg. and the optional 3.55 axle ratio, you are charged $470 for the 3.55 axle ratio option which is the entire cost of the electronic locking rear axle upgrade even though you already purchased the FX4 Pkg. which includes the Electronic Locking Rear Axle.

Besides being a 2018 build, which you can't get now anyway why not wait until the 2019 order bank is open. Perhaps they will figure it out or add some package discount. Anyway unless you really, really want a diesel they just don't justify the added cost and weight penalty.
