Before i order i need to find a dealer that can fix the DTE issue. Im going to see if I can find a tech that is familiar and capable of using FORScan because i am not! Thanks for the tip for using Tasca.
just put a call out in the FORSCAN thread, im sure someone will meet up and help ya
Got the tank swapped a few days ago by the dealership. Today i had the DTE fixed by using Forscan thanks to "REMLTR" Works great and I'm very happy with the conversion. It literally took him less than a minute to change it. Ridiculous how easy it is to fix this problem yet the dealership can't do it.
I did mine today. Took me about two hours on the streets of manhattan. One thing to remember when you do this, learn how those darn fuel lines disconnect. They can be very tricky to remove especially in tight places, not to mention you will be reinstalling two of them in the blind since the new tank is longer and will cover 2 connections at the front of the truck. Forscan programming was a breeze.
Looking at the tank on line and description excludes turbo; is this part number excluding the Eco-boost? I don’t want to drop the $$ and end up with parts that don’t fit my 2016 XLT.

It will work. I did mine, a 2016 xlt with the 2.7L
