Why only go 36 when you can probably get a replacement 50 gallon from Transfer Flow for the same or less money?

I would prefer to still be able to use my 5.5' bed and not clutter it with an external fuel tank!

The Transfer-Flow tanks REPLACE your OEM tank under the truck. Did you think I was talking about those ugly boxes in the bed of the truck?

Transfer-Flow makes REPLACEMENT tanks that install in the same OEM location as your 23 gallon tank, but are much larger. The volume depends on your bed size. I know the 6.5' can have a 50 gallon replacement. I think the 5.5' bed can have a 46 or 47 gallon replacement.

No. Ford offers a 26 & 36 gallon tank in the F150 I was assuming that the OP would want OEM over aftermarket when it comes to that. I would.

We're not talking about a Chinese-made fender vs. a Ford OEM fender.

Clearly, you're not familiar with Transfer-Flow.

Transferflow does not seem to make a replacement tank for a late model F150.

I'm not and it doesn't matter. I was giving my opinion as to why the OP wanted what he did. And personally if I could swap to a OEM 36gallon tank and everything be correct with the gauge I would! Even if the company you listed was half the price. I was just giving my opinion from what you asked the OP that's all.
