Did my swap the other day. It wasn't terrible. There was definetly other things I would have rather been doing on a 98 degree day. lol

Did the DTE update with Forscan and that was it.

I'm not sure it's new, but that's what I used. Got it out of this thread I think...

Now, what to do with the old tank? Lol

Hi I am new to the forums. I just purchased a 2017 xlt sport supercrew with 145 wb.
Will these part numbers be the same for a 2017? Also I found a 2015 36 gallon tank at a junk yard would that fit mine?
I want to be 100% sure on what's needed before I start ordering.
Thanks to who all replies.

Yes the parts will be the same, as I just did the swap on a 2016 3.5 Ecoboost. Like mentioned earlier in thread, measure the junk yard tank to be sure its the 36 gal tank, should be around 74" long. I had two yards tell me they have the 36 gal tank only when they pulled them out there were the 23 gal tank, which is about 62-63" long if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the info. Just picked up the tank and heatshield for $200 from a yard. Measured out fine also.
