Default 2020 Sync Display

Hey guys,

Been a lurker on here a long time. Had a 2016 F150 and just traded for a 2020. The truck is sweet~!! I do have a complaint about the Sync screen. I liked the look of my 2016 a lot better. Is there any way to go back to the old style look? Probably a dumb question but thought that I would ask.
Thanks and I look forward to posting on the board~!

What are you trying to do? In settings, you can change the background of the screen.

Thanks for the response Jan.. I saw where you can change the background. I was referring to overall look. This new display has so much "white space" and it just doesn't look as good as the older one I had. Probably nothing that can be done, but I thought that I would ask the experts on the board...

I don't know what the display of the 2020 looks like, but I have zero white space in my 2019.

I agree with you, Metal! My 2018 Sync screen has a much better look than my 2 co-workers 2020 F250's. Almost looks like it took a step back in time. Hard to explain; it just has an "older" computer look to it.

I put my current one in night mode all the time & prefer it that way. that's a simple change in the settings > display I believe. I still have my 16" tho, I'm keeping it until the bitter end lol.

Yeah, I was going to say just permanently default it to night mode as well, lol.

I agree...traded my 2019 for a 2020 and really dislike the white/blue new Sync screen colors. The most tolerable way I have found to set it up is put it in Dark mode so it's the blue color all the time.

WTF can't Ford coordinate the center screen colors/skin to match the instrument panel? Or at least give us like 30 choices for colors/patterns. Poor design.

I have a new 2020 Lariat. I do like the darker blue night screen. I scrolled through settings, did not see an option to default to dark blue. Am I missing something? thx
