Default 2019 Oil Consumption

I have a 2019 Lariat, 5.0. This is what my Dipstick looks like at exactly 3,000 after my last oil change. Oil Consumption TSB and Longer Dipstick have already been performed. This IS the longer Dipstick. Should I be concerned? Thanks

Are you checking it 15 minutes after it was run to normal operating temp?

I drove it for 30 minutes, then let it sit for 25 minutes before pulling the dip stick.

Many folks including myself run 5w30. I’ve had no oil use in 4,300 miles. I’ve got a 2018 5.0 with 53,000 miles

I’m going to try that next. Also read about people having success by using a PVC valve for a Mustang. Not sure which PVC valve that is, but I’ll probably try that too.

you check your oil once every 3000 miles??? haha
Lets say you have a 36 gallon tank... thats 4.16 fill ups.
You should be checking EVERY time you fuel up or every 700 miles.

Please let me know what the acceptable minimum oil level is stated by Ford? Why would you not top the oil up EVERY fill up??

Checking it at 3,000 miles is just one step in the Ford oil consumption process. They don’t care what it consumed at 700, 1,000, or 2,500. 3,000 is what they are using as a benchmark. So; that’s why I checked it at 3,000 miles. It’s a multi step process to determine oil consumption. But I’m sure you know that.
