Think about it, most people go to forums/internet to find fixes to something that's going wrong. How many individuals that don't have any problems post? I'd say, not many.
Bottom line, you read more posts about complaints vs praise.

Still planning on buying a Ford, like the looks and the way they drive, talked to multiple newer Ford owners here in midwest, only one had a problem, that was the door latch problem, has not been fixed yet. So seems like a pretty good record for the F 150, have seen none with the dash problem.
