Default Weird weighted plastic pieces in the bed

anyone ever see these bubble things my 2015 and 2018 didn't have them. This truck is a 2019 3.0 power stroke, I took them out earlier they weigh 1lb 6oz each. They are hard plastic with metal inside.

Yeah possibly I took them out because they rattled so bad when I would go over some rough roads. They drove me crazy whats weird is I google the part number or look it up on Tasca and there isn't a part that goes to the number.

I have a 2019 powerstroke also and have those same bed plugs. Have never seen another truck with them.

Mine got sprayed over with linex so have not attempted to remove and investigate.

Do you have a 6.5 foot bed too?

Notice any difference with them off?

Yes 6.5 bed my friend has a 5.5 and doesn't have them. So it has to be a 6.5 thing I assume. I drove a short distance after removing them and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

I have looked in lots of other trucks. Powerstroke with the 5.5 bed dont have them. Other engine 6.5 don't either.

So must be a Powerstroke 6.5 thing but I cant see a purpose for them.

You should not have removed those - they are the discombobulators. After having removed them, you may occasionally find yourself combobulated.
