Default 2018 Tail light replacement

I have a pretty basic XLT Sport truck with the non LED lights. I have taken my tail lights off twice.Once to install a soft open tailgate assist and the other time to replace my reverse lights with an LED. The bushings that hold the front part either fell out or broke. The taillights have been loose for a while and I haven't addressed the problem. Now one of them has vibrated enough that it is cracked top to bottom.

I could try to find one light that matched the OEM and just replace the broken one but got to looking at some of the aftermarket ones. I see that many of the ones I liked say things like only for use with factory LED.

I found some Anzo full led replacements that say they are to be used with trucks that have factory halogen lights. I guess that is mine.

Amazon Amazon

Looking all the options on Amazon took me down a deep rabbit hole. Not sure which brands are reputable. I would rather buy from somewhere than Amazon if I can.

I have ordered from CarID before and they seem to have a bewildering selection also.

Whatever I do, I will need to get new bushings for the lights to snap into because those are gone.

I don’t understand why no one makes aftermarket led taillights that look similar to the oem led tails. All of the aftermarket stuff just look really ugly or ricey in my option.

I can get you the PN when I get out to the barn this afternoon. I too lost one a while back, and bought a bag with 4 IIRC
.
Got them from Tasca, any other seller like them would have the bushings as well.

AGREED!!!! These are the only ones I've found that I even remotely like, but they're always out of stock, and American Trucks even stopped selling them because they have so many complaints of them leaking and filling with water or fogging so badly.

I like those too. Do you have them? Those ANZO lights you linked to are model number 311314 and cost $526.43 at stage2motorsports.com
https://www.stage3motorsports.com/31...s-halogen.html

I linked ANZO model number 311315 at CarID above that only cost $411.38
https://www.carid.com/2018-ford-f-15...424540612.html

Looked at CarID and found they also have model 311314, also for $411.38
https://www.carid.com/anzo/black-seq...pn-311314.html

I like the way these lights look. Seems like the same light except in the photos, it shows the led's looking slightly different and the angle of the photo looks different. any idea what the difference is between the 311314 and the 311315?

Those aren’t as bad as most of them! I wish they had the brake light up like the oem ones do. Where it’s just perfectly filled with light and not a bunch of single leds.

Im surprised honestly that no one makes great looking aftermarket options.

I'm using these, https://www.americantrucks.com/f150-...s-5085764.html
I bought them for my '17, and reused them on my '20 after redoing the wiring to work on the newer truck.
I also had some grey film applied to darken them a bit.
At the time, I felt they were the less "ricy" looking ones available.
Mine are DNA brand, and have had zero trouble over 5 years.
