First post to the forum! I've got an '18 XLT Scab w/ the 5.0 that I bought last year, love the truck. It's got some weird issues going on with the sync 3 system, though. See attached codes. The radio works fine, and volume adjustment works. HOWEVER, when using the steering wheel controls, my volume display comes up on the screen showing "volume level 0". The volume still goes up and down fine, but the screen only ever shows 0. I also have an issue with my sound settings. I can't adjust my bass, treble, etc. The sliders are all turned all the way up, and when I adjust them, leave the menu, and come back, they'll be all the way up again. SUPER frustrating. I hope this all makes sense.
So far I've done a master reset, battery disconnect overnight, and software update, all with no luck. From what I can tell, these codes have something to do with these issues. Any experts on here? I'm not even sure where to start. TIA!

Is the battery original? batteries low on charge or going bad cause goofy electrical issues. If sync software is up to date, my first step would be verify battery is fully charged.
Battery doesn't seem to be original. Truck has always fired right up, and doesn't seem to have any other issues, so I don't think low voltage is causing this. Wouldn't the issues go away when running and charging if that was the case?
I unplugged the radio and screen yesterday. Connections look fine, put back together and no change. Dumb question, but the ACM is just the radio unit (the part that holds the CD player), correct?

ACM = Audio Control Module, the computer that controls the infotainment system. When they start to go bad weird things happen. Also, when a battery is starting to go bad the truck may still start OK but low voltage causes random electronic faults.
ACM is the part that holds the CD, and amp and tuner and sat tuner and communicates with the truck and the controls and the APIM (the part behind the screen) so yes it's the CD and much more.
It has 2 plugs unplug and replug those.

Additionally it should have a number on the sticker... Some thing like this KL3T18D832CJ . If its your ACM depending on the options you can pick up a used one for less then 100$ on ebay or junk yard. BUT you have to match versions and then config in Forscan.
