This has indeed been known for a while. It popped up on my Ford phone app several days before I got the mailed notice.

Went in yesterday to have it checked. I had an appointment so it took all of 15-20 min.

 

me too....yesterday. they said all was fine.

 

Same here, yesterday. I asked if they found anyones clip off or loose, they said they checked all the trucks on the lot ( about 150 he said ) and found one with the clip half off.

 

Thank you to the Original poster for the information.........I received the recall notice in the mail yesterday, sometimes my mail get put in others peoples box and I don't always get it returned to me. This recall post would've been a big help to me had that been the case, fortunately for me my mailman wasn't smoking 420 and I received this notice in a timely manner.
