Default 2018 Platinum

Looking at a 2 wheel drive 2018 Platinum, equipment group 701A, total MSRP $59,230. This truck has been on the dealer lot since November 2017. Dealer said that it hasn't sold because it's a 2 wheel drive. Dealer offered it for $53,500. Think it should be a lot lower since being on the lot for so long. Any thoughts on what I should offer. He said there might be better rebates with Ford Truck month coming up.

Imagine what your resale will be if the dealer can not sell. I can honestly say I have only seen one 2wd around me.

That does not sound like a very good deal, when you can routinely get 10-12k off of sticker. The depreciation on that vehicle due to age is already high. I would be a buyer at about 47k.

I ordered a 2018 Platinum 2WD (see sig) in September of 2017 and paid less than that. The truck you’re looking at is almost 1.5 years old. Pass on that “deal”.

And that price is why it's still on the lot 18 months later. Pass.

I would pass on that deal too. I agree on what your resale would be....my guess would be close to $42,000

+2 on this, this truck is still for sale because this dealer needs to ream everybody, no exceptions, even on old old age inventory.
I have looked at many a leftover and, while usually you can get a good deal, you see this stupidity a lot too.
