2018 Light Switch: Ouch!
I hit the dang thing twice today. I suppose moving the seat backward would help, but I keep my toolbox there. Since I've only had the truck for a week, I plan to teach myself to avoid that ****... or get some Ford knee-pads.
Yes. I'm 45 years old, my first vehicle was a 1976 Mercury Cougar XR7 and my second vehicle was a 1984 F-150, both had that exact setup. The dimmer switch on the cougar would stick down and I had to bang on it with my shoe so it would pop back up.
Being well over-the-hill, I had several vehicles equipped this way. And to my mind, that's the way they still should be! Switching from hi to low beams was such a piece of cake when driving down a two-lane road at night - just keep your toe on the switch and tap it as needed. Now I have to move my hand from where I like to have it on the steering wheel over to where it can grab that dang switch!
