2018 Leveling Question
I installed the Eibachs on my 2018. I like them and think they are comparable to 5100's (i've had them in the past). Didn't want to wait on 5100's. I installed them at stock height with the 2.5" spacers I already had. This made installing the springs on the front struts much easier.

I was going to go with the Bilstein 5100 struts to level my 15 but they wont be available until at the earliest the beginning of March (source: them when I called them), so I rolled to the Eibach struts, which based on putting 2 & 2 together, seem like they're made in the same factory as the Bilsteins anyway i.e. they may be the exact same unit with different stickers on them. At any rate the difference in ride quality is night & day better than the OEM setup & because I don't do any real 'wheeling' with my 150 I know I wouldn't be able to justify the up-charge for a springs & strut combo. Now that I have the struts only I'm confident that was the right call.
Mine are set to the max (2 inches) & if I had to do it over again I would not go that high, I would have them set on the next notch down, 1.75 IIRC. I'd prefer some rake after the front is leveled as I tow.... I may have to add a spacer on the back now but I'm still debating that one.
Spring & strut combo will give you I think up to 2.5" in front lift if you want/need it. If you don't need that much of a front end raise & you're not out wheeling your truck very hard then you might save yourself some $$s & go with a strut lift vs the springs & struts. Of course if you're happy with the existing ride quality you can always save more bucks with a spacer kit. I wouldn't hesitate to do that for a 2" or less level job but again, only if you're happy with the stock ride as it stands.
Good luck / either way it's a vast improvement over stock (at least on my '15 it was).

At the 2" setting will there be a LCA problem? Somewhere on the Q&A of the stage3 website someone asked if the LCA will hit the coil and they said maybe at full extension. While I don't plan on jumping the truck, is the 2" of difference enough to mess with the geometry that other parts are recommended in addition to the shocks?
Thanks
Thanks
When wheels on ground everythis is fine, but when wheels off ground UCA will rest on coil spring. I'm not sure if Icon UCA can solve this problem.
Okay, I think I've settled on the 5100 kit with the factory springs.
For those of you who done the kit how much of a rake is left on the highest setting? I'm thinking of doing one down from the highest setting.
Does anyone have picks of the kit installed on the second to the highest setting?
Thanks!
