Default 2018 led tail light reverse light

Hey guys., I just purchased oem led tail lights and was wondering if the reverse led light is changeable or is it soldered in. Thanks in advance

LED taillights are not serviceable, just like the LED headlights.

So only choice is to buy another tail light when reverse light no longer works? Thank you.

They figure the LED lights inside the unit should last for the life of the truck they're originally installed on. I don't know if anyone has had LED lights go out in these, I've only heard about it happening in aftermarket units.

I bought used on ebay maybe a year ago for my 2017. No warranty for these. Just didn't know if there is a workaround in this case vs buying another. FYI it is only the passenger side that is out.
