Default 2018 3.5 EB Throttle Body Problems

Hi all. First time poster, long time lurker...Yesterday evening when I was leaving work, I started my truck and it instantly went into Limp Mode. Every warning light came on and it had an extremely rough idle. I plugged in my OBDII scanner and saw P2112 and P2119 codes, indicating throttle body problems.

I installed a new one and cleaned MAF/MAP sensors. I cleared the codes and went through the "relearn" process...disconnected negative battery terminal for 15 minutes then reconnected it, pressed/depressed the accelerator 3x with the key in the "on" position. I started the truck and let it idle for ~10 minutes, and the problem still persists...VERY rough idle, shaking the whole truck, and the wrench symbol came back on.

I thought it could possibly be a battery problem, but my multimeter is reading 14.8V while the truck is running.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong here?

What does the battery read after it's been sitting about an hour with the truck off?
With the truck running you're reading the alternator output.

Thanks. I'll check this.

I disconnected the battery for about 90 minutes and it's still showing 12.6V at rest, so it doesn't look like the battery is the problem here.

Yes. It threw P2112 and P2119. I replaced the throttle body and cleared the codes, but they came back on again.

Have a good look at all the underhood wiring. The throttle pedal wires run through connector C268. This area, above the driver side wheelhouse, is a favorite place for rodents to chew on the harnesses. Check around the throttle body as well.

I appreciate the suggestion. The wires all appear to be in good order.

The code P 2019 very likely is causing the repair issue.
It is a faut with Bank 2 IMRC.
It is the fault detected with-in the first 15 seconds of starting when the PCM program looks at all the Sensors that could >affect starting emissions testing results< at the end of a 5-minute test sequence.
.
The 2111, 2112, 2107.
is Throttle positions but NOT the "cause" of the issue.
Fix the IMRC 2019 problem and it will all clear.
This info can be found in 2018 Ford Doc on OBDII Overview, pages 152, 153. for codes 2107, 2111, 2112.
The separate code 2119 is what is interfering with the Idle and test process and is causing rough idle and Throttle close-down. poor bank 2 airflow because the starting needs air and fuel in correct A/F. Ratio. Bank 2 has a problem!
It all involves heating the CATS and testing Oxygen storage at the end of the time when Idle returns to 600+/-.
This is a lesson not to replace parts hoping to get lucky but knowing what is going on first, then the repairs.
Look up 2019 code and description.
Good luck.

Thanks Bluegrass. Can the IMRC itself be replaced, or am I likely looking at a whole new intake manifold?
