That can't be with the 136l tank?

"few hours of idling" what's the outside temp? Probably overworking the cooling system. It cools down after driving because it is getting airflow. Maybe open the hood if 1/3 of your time is idling, let some heat out.

Oh, and what's your engine temperature gauge show when this happens?

Default Idle

The engine temp is normal and yup with the 136l tank a ford tech has enformed me that these engines arnt made to idle and it will damage the motor. It apparently dose not idle high enough to burn off fluid therefore no air conditioning or heat I idle 10hrs or so at a time as I work out of my truck In the oil field I'm going to be contacting ford directly to ask them why they do not disclose this information to customers and sell them sub par vehicles that apparently only work like they should when driving .... pretty dissapointed in ford and the dealer that sold it to me knowing what I do for a living

I'd look at a diesel next time. They don't seem to mind idling.

Just curious how long you are idling?

This sounds pretty goofy. Today's engines can raise or lower idle speed at will via the PCM, and the engineers have programmed them to maintain the lowest possible idle speed for lowest emissions and fuel economy but will raise idle speed to charge the battery or achieve optimum engine temperature, or whatever other condition requires it. That "Ford tech" might have just been repeating urban legend or making things up on the fly. They get bored.

Seems like you have a problem that should be fixable.
