Finally after 40 days Ford has offered to settle. They are replacing according to NY lemon law, so its MSRP to MSRP with no usage fees or deductions. The BBB process worked. Once an arbitration date was scheduled, they offered pretty quick.

It will be a few weeks as Ford is way behind due to the hurricane in Florida, but I still have my rental.

In another two to three weeks - my local dealership will have the 2018's in, and I've already narrowed my selection down to just a couple. Time will tell. I'll need to pay 1-2K for the increase in MSRP as there is no exact MSRP to MSRP replacement.

Some relief for now...

That's some good news. I hope you are enjoying a new 18 by now and can put all that bs behind you.

Thanks - but not yet. Still waiting for a worksheet from Ford. I'm not sure why but I am expecting some issue / delay. 56 days and counting

Finally - Everything is approved - and Bank has agreed to a collateral swap - I should be in my new replacement tomorrow. I opted for a 2017 F250 XLT Premium 6.2L - Bullet proof engine - increased payload - mostly the same options - Better towing of high loads etc. Yes I know - 1/2 the gas mileage also

I've owned 3/4 ton and one tons in the past, and I think this will suit me better. I heat with wood pellets so picking up a ton or more at a time will be easier and safer. We camp - Will be upgrading to a larger 30' or so travel trailer next year, and need the extra capacity to haul the trailer and gear / firewood etc. at once.

The RAV process with Ford has been quick and trouble free - only issue was getting my bank to make an exception to the policy of only allowing a collateral swap within 60 days of loan closing. It has been almost 90 days.

Thanks - All over now. I took delivery of the replacement, and am happy with it. Getting to this point was no picnic but in the end I am glad Ford did what they should, and has therefore kept me as a customer.

Glad this has all been resolved but sorry you had to go through all of this. You prove that persistence and patience pays off. Although you were angry and frustrated you were never unprofessional with the dealership. Congratulations on your new truck and I hope it gives you many years of reliable service.
