Default 2017 stx

Looking at a '17 STX for just over 36k. Has 3.31 axle, 5.0L, trailer tow with brake controller, backup assist, bedliner, backup camera. So basically everything an STX comes with minus but rear sliding window. Sound like a fair price? I don't really tow anything so I'm not so concerned with the smaller axle ratio.

It seems like you could probably do a little better on the price.

You can get a 301A XLT for that price and probably a 302A XLT for not much more. That price should be a few grand lower.

You can get a STX for crew cab for $29.9K at Brandon Ford before you even haggle. I don't think I've seen any with the 5.0L though. They all have the small 6.

2017 STX. (the XLT's on the lot didn't even have the options the STX package had). The Crew was right about $30,000.

Unless I missed it, I didn't see if it was 2 or 4WD, nor did I see cab size. All factors in price.

You couldn't give me a 5.0 with 3.31 gears.

Where are you located? If it's anywhere that has hills, I don't think you'll be happy with performance, but that's just my opinion as I've been spoiled by a 3.73 5.0 for the last 6 years.

I'm in Michigan and there isn't much as far as any deal in the low 30s for any F150 minus a 4x2. I've done quite a bit of research and the cost of trucks are much higher here and I literally live 30 mins from each of the world headquarters of the big 3. One would think it would be the opposite, but I guess the market dictates everything.

That is what I paid for mine getting the 3.5 engine. You should be about 2 grand less with the 5.0, which I don't recommend. Most of the stx trucks are 2.7. Get that instead. I had to have my truck shipped in I could have pushed for a better deal if it was in dealer inventory. And yes I spent 5 weeks driving a 5.0. One of the few here that has actually spent a fair amount of time driving all the motors
