Hello Friends,
My truck was parked for a few weeks, and had dead battery when I returned. Everything worked fine when parked. I installed a new battery and now I have no radio, or SNYC voice. I have checked all fuses and wiring to no avail.
All things led to the APIM module so we replaced it. Problem still exists. Anyone have any suggestions?\

do you get any type of logo on the radio screen ? can you hear music? lights ?

 

Have you scanned for DTCs?

 

The screen comes on as normal. Touch screen all working. No audio. SYNC no sound.

 

No codes.

Is it a factory amplified system?

 

I just replaced it. You think I got a 2nd bum unit?

 

Yes. No aftermarket parts, all OEM.

 

Your amp could be toast. May want to check that out.

It's possible you got a 2nd bad APIM, but the likelihood of getting 2 in a row with the exact same issue seems slim.
