Default 2017 King Ranch

when are the 2017 f150 coming to the dealers? I am driving a 2016 sierra denali and not happy with comfort of front seats and smaller interior than my 2013 lariat super crew 157" fuel miles is better as is navigation. but am kicking myself for not buying the king ranch instead. local dealer had a black 157" king ranch in stock but it had the 3.5 turbo which I don't want again as I seldom tow. I travel a lot and feel the 5.0 will get better milage on a trip. best I could do with the ford at 75-79 MPH was about 16+. My GMC with a 5.3 will get 21 at the same speeds.been looking online for dealers who hav e 17 models in stock to no avail. I thought they would be out by now. any thoughts?

I believe they are getting ready to start production on the 17s. First builds should be out end of November/December if the pattern holds true.

Follow up, I don't think the 5.0 would be that much more superior to the EB in fuel mileage at that speed (if that's your only reason for excluding the 3.5LEB). Unless you just want the V8 to have it.

I agree, don't expect 21 mpg at 75+. It'll be more in the 18/19 range most likely.

comparable driving with the 5.0, and the 3.5 eco will basically get the same MPG. I had a 2013 sierra with 5.3L Ecotec and got about 1-2mpg better then my 3.5L Ecoboost on long trips.

75+ and I get maybe 18 mpg. I've never gotten 21 hand calculated or even on the lie-o-meter. The King Ranch does have a much nicer interior and features.

is there a 10 speed trans mission in the works for the f150/ my Denali has a 6 speed. possibly why milage is so much better than my ford with 3.5 eco.

The 10 speed is only available with the TT V6. You may want to spend a few minutes reading about model year changes - a quick google search will find you articles from reputable sources.
