I have a 2017 XLT sport lighting blue. I’m looking at options for a new grille, I see a lot going around with the raptor style grille. They are nice but I just feel I can put that in my truck if it’s not a raptor haha. I would love to be able to get a roush or Shelby grille but I can’t find them anywhere. My other option I like and seen is a lariat grille painted to colour match. My father works at the local dealer so I could get this done easy. What’s every ones thoughts anyone have this done?

I'm a little confused...
You wouldn't install a Raptor grille on a non-Raptor, but a Roush on a non-Roush or a Shelby on a non-Shelby or a Lariat on a non-Lariat is OK?

I liked the Raptor grille, didn't like the big FORD letters, found a 13-inch Ford emblem off a '11-'16 Super Duty,... and then Ford revealed pictures of the 2018 Special Edition grille. So my grille is really a Special Edition replica (or is the Special Edition a replica of my original design?) with amber marker lights at the top.
Initially I wanted to get the raptor grill, then had a change of heart and didn't wanna go that route. I went with the lariat grill to accentuate the chrome around the truck and it was a big change.
