Good to hear!! I hope more chime in.. I work from home so my driving is limited. Most miles will be vacation trips.

My 2015 Explorer got a solid 23.5 to 24 mpg around same speed (70 mph) and that was with or without the two fat tire bikes on a hitch style bike rack. However the Explorer was a bit gutless. Going up the same mountain hills (Sacramento, CA to Portland, OR) it would constantly scream around 4500 rpm just to maintain speed up those long inclines. Otherwise I LOVED my Explorer. I actually miss it.. how it drove & handled. Easy to park. Intelligent access.

Anywho needless to say I'm very impressed with the F150. The fact my lease payments are near spot on what I was paying for my Explorer and I get the same MPGs as the explorer but with more function/power??? Win win.

I went up them hills in 10th gear maintaining speed. Every now and then it'd drop down to 8th gear on the steepest of hills but otherwise it was mostly pure 1700 rpm in 10th gear up the mountain sides

17' 3.5EB Screw XLT 302A 4x4 5.5 bed Fx4 20" factory rims 3.31 rear end. 7700 miles

Mixed driving = 19.8 - 20.8 mpg
Interstate (75 mph) = 19 mpg
County road (55-62 mph) = 23 mpg

Pretty impressed so far considering this is the most powerful motor in the lineup!

I'm sitting at about 19.3mpg with mixed city/hwy over about 5,100miles. Not bad compared to my old Tundra which got 13.5 under the same scenario...although I had slightly more lift and larger tires on the Toyot.

6300 miles on mine. I haven't reset the mileage yet. It,s averaging 19.2 combined so far. the truck has about 37 hours idle time. so I'm thinking thats pretty darn good considering i drive 75-77 mph on the highway up and down some pretty good hills across from STL to Lebanon MO every weekend.

I wish all who post their mileage figures would specify whether they are getting their readings from the dash display or hand calculated.

There's a reason that dash display is known as a lie-o-meter! Mine is consistently anywhere from 1 - 3 mpg optimistic.

My figures above are all hand calculated.

The Ford MPG display is right at 1 mpg better than my real mileage figures on all of them except one and it was 2 mpg less than actual.

I've hand calculated and used the factory meter, By hand it has been better by 1 mpg and worse by 1.4 mpg. So I'm calling it a wash. Could also be the level of the ground where I filled the truck with fuel.
