2017 3.5 estimated MPG
I searched but couldn't find an answer.
Just recently did a long road trip in the 2017 F150 Screw. Speed kept around 67 mph cruise control with fun jumps on the gas up steep hills to pass people (to feel that power, more or less)
400 miles on the clock I averaged around 21 mpg on my trip to.
Day an a half later I leave with 1,100 miles on the clock. This time I averaged 23.5 mpg with a STRONG headwind for a good 1/4 of the trip.
Are these numbers where I should be? More or less?

We have filled up my wife's 4 times since we got it.
She has gotten 2 tanks in the low 21's, one of 23.2 and one at 25.4.
Most of her driving is city driving (think 36K pop not millions) and about 25% would be considered "freeway" as in a loop around town and some highway driving.
Beats the heck out of the 16 I get in my '14 3.7L XL regular cab.

I don't drive slow. I don't race at every light either. I have about 2K miles now and my onboard meter says 19.9MPG's average over those miles. i've had a couple longer trips on the freeway and I stay 79-84 on those. I expect a good hit on the MPG's, but my fuelly app says i'm at 18.8 over the life on my truck. So about 1 MPG off between the two. It's funny, the onboard keeps going down from when I initially bought it and my fuelly keeps going up since I started logging, but with a 36 gallon tank, I only have like 4 or 5 fill ups on the thing

Mileage jump is amazing from my 2012 eco to my 2017 3.5 eco! Was lucky to get 15 to 16 mpg with my 2012 where now I'm averaging over 20. Some nice engine improvements but I think the big thing is the weight reduction? Took a 250 mile highway trip and averaged just under 24 driving about 70 mph. I do have a full toneau cover which I suppose helps a little.
Bottom line I'm very pleased with the performance and mileage of my 2017.

With mostly city driving I'm getting 19mpg. My previous car was a Mini Countryman S (with 180 horsepower and torque) and I was getting 20mpg. Towing a 6800lbs trailer this weekend on mostly flat freeways (pretty slow moving traffic for about 1/3 of the trip) I got 11.5mpg which I think is great.
I'm VERY pleased with the fuel efficiency.

I have a 2018 3.5. In my limited testing, I am getting about 22 if I peg the cruise control at 55. However, if I drive around 75-80 (70mph speed limit where I live) I get around 19. I actually get close to 20 driving around town with the start stop. I did change out my tires and wheels for 17" fuel vapor and bfg ko2 285/70/17.

Around 600 miles on the clock. Most of my driving is mixed - I live 20 miles out and do a bunch of errands whenever I go to town.
I get to test mine this weekend! Less than 4K trailer, but 7x7 v nosed frontal and some hills. I am looking forward to it as I took the trailer out for a 110 mile trip on flat ground this weekend and was impressed.
